Bidya Sinha Saha Mim’s father Virendranath Saha is a Professor in Government college and mother Chobi Saha is a home maker. Due to her father’s job, she lived in different parts of Bangladesh but her favorite place is Rajshahi.
Bidya Sinha Mim was a talented student. She did her schooling at the renownedNawab Faizunnesa Government Girls’ High School. She received Golden A+ in SSC. She then went on to study at Comilla Victoria College and received A in HSC. She then enrolled into Jahangirnagar University. 
Earlier Career:
In 2007, Mim became the winner of the Lux Channel-i Superstar. Her mother put her name into the competition. Then she started getting offers from different producers. In 2008, she made her debut in Humayun Ahmed’s movie Amar Achey Jol. Her acting was praised by the critics. After two-year break, she again starred in Amar Praner Priya. For her performance in the movie, she received Meril Prothom Alo Nominationin Best Actress category in 2014.
Movies like “Jonaki’r Alo”, “Tarkata”, and “Poddo Patar Jol” established her as an actress in the film industry. The film won ‘Audience Choice Award’ in 12th ‘Asian Film Festival.
Her recent movie Black, an India-Bangladesh co-production, was big commercial success. People loved her performance. Popular West-Bengal actor Soham Chakraborty played the male lead in the movie.
Beside films, Mim has numerous TV dramas and TV commercials to her credit. Her first TV drama was Shesher Kobitar Porer Kobita directed by Mahfuz Ahmed . Other major dramas are- A B C, Tini Bujhtey Parlen Je Eta Prem Noy, Nil Josnai Kalo Shap,and Tai Opurno.

Though an actress, Mim leads a very simple life. She loves to travel. She is one of the busiest actresses in Bangladesh these days but whatever little time she gets she visits different places. She loves to hang out with her friends.
Her favorite dress is Salwar Kamiz and Jins-tops. She loves to use light-colored lipstick. Generally, she takes light make-up and loves to diet. She loves to eat  light food such as  fruits, juice, sour- yogurt etc.  Occasionally, she does yoga for keeping fit herself.
